I joined POSSIBLE (née Fortune Cookie), a fast-paced, full service Digital Agency as a Project Manager in 2011. Following a promotion to Senior Project Manager at the start of 2013, I worked in a freelance capacity for the last 13 months of my time.

Following a redundancy I joined Tag, an international design and production company, as a Development Project Manager working in an operational and support capacity on its bespoke web-based marketing resource and management software, CMD (database, asset management and workflow software). The role included:

  • Managing transitional operational phase to support office in South Africa for RBS - including process stream-lining

After taking time out to travel and work in South America, I returned to the UK as a Project Manager within a "start-up organization", Humana Europe. Responsible for the successful execution of a £6m implementation of Acute invoicing and validation software and processes (SIV) across 15 NHS Primary Care Trusts within the East of England Strategic Health Authority.

A large, complex and challenging project, incorporating business process redesign and organizational change, as well as software installation, my role included:

  • Managing/creating project documentation - including project plans, actions/risks/issues logs and meeting agendas
  • Compiling regular project update reports internally and to the PMO, containing status on key items, issues and risks pertaining to a successful implementation
  • Preparing documentation for and responses to Governance Board requests
  • Liaising with PMO to formulate project plan(s) and other planning activities, adhering to PRINCE 2 methodology
  • Developing internal processes - including SIV's helpdesk function and a customer facing SharePoint site
  • Building strong working relationships with the PMO, PCT main contacts and project managers, PCT SMEs, governance board members and all internal project stakeholders and senior management
  • Working with client PMO and internal accountants to plan and utilise financial budget as specified within contract
  • Proactively identified/anticipated issues to ensure realisation of milestone payments
  • Monitoring of resource usage in line with agreed budget plans

I joined this small, global marketing services provider, as Project Manager shortly after moving to Sweden. Runaware provides a unique lead generation service to independent software vendors, allowing their software to be demonstrated via a web browser using Citrix technology and other in-house developed tools.

During my time at Runaware I successfully managed all incoming customer projects as the conduit between the production team and client. The role included:
